Since turning 50, Rich Babbitt has added the following to his Bucket List:
- Went Hang Gliding for the first time on Jockey's Ridge, Nags Head, NC by the Atlantic Ocean in 2010
- Celebrated his 15th Anniversary with his wife, Kathy, at the Grand Floridian at Disney World, in 2010
- Flew to Big Bear Lake in California (between L.A. and the Mohave Desert), to visit his son, Matt, in 2009
- Attended his first Redskins Game at FedEx Field with his son, Todd in 2010 (guess who didn't win!)
- Stayed overnight on Great Fox Island, VA in the middle of the Chesapeake Bay with his sons Matt and Todd in 2010
- Serves on Board of Directors and continues to help with short-term and long-term planning for Noble Warriors
- Facilitates multiple annual conferences throughout Central Virginia for Christian Men's Ministry: Noble Warriors
- Created and branded a new Home Healthcare product in 2007: "Walk & Roll" Tennis Balls...with Attitude! WalkandRoll.Biz
- Submitted trademark, copyright, and patent-pending applications for "Walk & Roll" in 2008 / 2009
- Developed production systems, outsourced product printing, and developed distribution channels for Walk & Roll to the wholesale and retail markets
- Developed Press Releases and had "Walk & Roll" featured in multiple publications including Midlothian Exchange, Chesterfield Observer, Fifty Plus in 2008 / 2009
- Taught lessons to the Advanced Marketing Senior class at Midlothian High School about the real-world and hands-on marketing principles based on "Walk & Roll" in 2007
- Wrote his first non-fiction book: "Paper Routes and Lawn Mowing: The 10 Basic Skill-sets for Boomers" in 2010
- Self-published the book and got the books printed, bound, and distributed; formed Boomers Book
- Created Press Releases to over 200 local and national media contacts for the Oct 1, 2010 book release
- Appeared on local TV News to announce the book release: TV-8 WRIC / ABC
- Scheduled and conducted radio interviews, book talks, and book signings
- Wrote a condensed article based on the book for Richmond Times-Dispatch, Commentary Section in December 2010
- Appeared in Richmond Times Dispatch feature "60 Seconds" video in April 2011
- Appeared on front cover of Richmond's "Fifty Plus" in June 2011
- The original book was picked up by Dementi Milestone Publishing in March 2011 for release in August 2011 under the title of "From Paperboy to Boomer"
